Phoebe Tebb

I joined Off to Work as a casual team member in November 2022, when I spontaneously moved to Edinburgh after graduating in Sociology, Criminology, Russian and French from Durham University. I had worked in fine dining events in Vienna, which is where I grew up, and really enjoyed it, so I thought Off to Work would be a great place to put my skills to use, meet new people and explore my new home. Little did I know that it would lead to me joining the office as a casual recruitment assistant at first, and then full-time as a recruitment and staffing assistant.

I have a keen interest in mental health and have volunteered and worked in the field for five years, so I'm excited to bring this experience and knowledge to my career at Off to Work, which will be useful when training new Off to Workers and nurturing our casual staff. Although I'm all about friendliness and peace, in my spare time I prefer more aggressive hobbies: I have practised a variety of martial arts, including Judo, Thai boxing and Krav Maga, and I love playing rugby too!
