Mila Velichkova

My foray into the world of hospitality began with Off to Work. I began in March 2015, when I was recruited for the biggest event of the year- Cheltenham Gold Cup. It was while working at a prestigious restaurant at this event that the job quickly progressed into a passion. I managed to work at a number of international events. In 2017, I worked at The Cisco Conference in Berlin and at the Martial Arts Games in Turkmenistan. 2018 saw me working at the Olympic Games in South Korea and Extreme Sailing Competition in Barcelona. There were so many other national and international events, I couldn’t possibly list them here.

My hard work and dedication paid off when I was asked to join the team as a Casual Operations Coach in late 2015. After graduating with a degree that was not really suited to me, I decided to expand my career into hospitality. With many years of experience, both on the field and in the office, I made the decision to fully commit to the office team in 2019, when I joined as an Operations Assistant. Shortly after, I moved up and became an Operations Manager for stadia, event caterers and large events for the Birmingham and West Midlands area.
