After graduating in Politics, I moved to Wales in 2005 and began my career in events and hospitality right away by working in a small family run hotel where I learned all the essentials of the trade.
I've worked in a great variety of roles including a Commis Chef, Reservation Agent, Bartender and finally Duty Manager. I then worked at the largest conference & banqueting hotel in Cardiff where I stayed for seven years in different roles including Food & Beverage Cost Controller, Conference & Banqueting Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.
I decided to move on to work at the iconic Wales Millennium Centre as Events Sales Executive. My main role was to project manage large scale events ranging from 25 to 1400 guests. Some of the Events I worked on included the official visit of the President of Republic of Ireland Michael D. Higgins, official dinner for UEFA Super Cup, 100th Anniversary of Welsh Guards, and annual conferences for Museum Association and Association of British Neurologists. I was then promoted to Business Development Officer where he built on both existing and new relationships to move the Centre forward financially.
I joined the Off to Work team with eleven years expertise to help deliver an even better experience to discerning clients in Cardiff and beyond.
