We are looking for an experienced and flexible Sous Chef for this lovely client based in Brighton. This is a Contract Catering site which is open 7 days so you will be required to work 5/7 days. Shift times will be a mix of 7-3.30 and then 11-7. You will usually work 2 weekends per month and have the others off.
The salary is £25,000 - £26,000 DOE for a 37.5 hour contract, you will also have the opportunity to get paid overtime where available.
The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef and work in a kitchen team of around 5. The site offers a full service throughout the day and also hospitality operation as well. The kitchen team is very settled and there is a great environment to work in.
We would require the Sous Chef to have a strong career history and have worked in different types of operation, some hotel experience would also be very beneficial. As most of the menu is made freshly on site you would also need to be comfortable in the Pastry section as well as this would be required.
