We are looking for a strong Sous Chef to work in this prestigious operation based in Central London. You will work in a busy staff restaurant supporting the Head Chef and working closely with the Junior Sous Chef
Core hours for the role are Monday to Friday from 7am to 3.30pm and there is an evening service as well so paid overtime is also a possibility. The Sous Chef should also be confident to step up to cover the Head Chef as required.
The Sous Chef needs to be very confident in all sections in the kitchen to support junior chefs and lead and motivate the team. Ideally you will have gained experience in a Staff Dining / Retail Kitchen environment.
You will cook for around 800 on a daily basis with all usual staff dining offerings. Also on site will be a Pizza Section and well as a Live Grill section. The Sous Chef should be able to bring ideas to he table for themes and concepts that can be introduced to service as well.
This is a very busy site and will be used as a flagship kitchen for the company so you will need to be able to cook to very high standards and have great attention to detail.
