Our client is a lovely boutique Events Caterer company and they are looking for an experienced Events Manager to overseeing all operational duties, ensuring excellence in all areas.

The responsibilities of the Event Manager will include:

  • Responding to enquiries and arranging client meetings.
  • Managing events from initial enquiry through to execution on the day and aftercare.
  • Forecasting projected sales for each event and updating for weekly forecast meetings.
  • Manage staff for each events coordination activities and provide hands on support to the operational team.
  • To inspire exceptional service to our clients and guests; and exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with client during coordination, execution and evaluation stages of services.
  • Work closely with the management, chefs and logistics teams to create a seamless experience.

Ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years Event Management experience within high-end Event Caterer.
  • Extensive understanding of the market and the industry.
  • Have a strong background in driving and delivering events.
  • The ability to build, lead and inspire an effective team through great leadership.
  • Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery.
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communicator, administrative and organizational skills.
  • A 'Can-do', enthusiastic attitude work to very high standards and keep energized during busy periods.
  • Self-motivation and a positive spirit are essential!
