The 2018 Event Photography Awards will be held at The British Museum on Thursday 3rd May, in the iconic venue’s plush main auditorium, preceded and followed by drinks receptions in the plush foyer where the shortlisted entries in each category will be on display.


There will also be photography-related entertainment and activities, as well as an opportunity to talk to some of the nominated photographers and vote in the ‘People’s Choice’ award.

 

Tickets for the event cost £30 and will be available nearer the date through EventBrite. However all short-listed photographers will be invited to attend the event as guests of hospitality staffing company Off To Work, the founding sponsors of the Event Photography Awards.

 

Moreover, sponsors will be given an allocation of tickets to invite guests to what will be a fabulous evening.

About the awards:

When an event is over we are left with only the memories and the photographs. Blending in whilst getting that perfect shot takes practise, stealth and intuition. It’s about catching real moments as they happen.

The Event Photography Awards have seen entries from talented photographers around the world. The 2018 awards will mark our biggest and best yet - our 5th anniversary awards - to be held in the British Museum's state-of-the-art theatre. We've introduced new categories, and are donating a portion of the entry fee of two charities - Meeting Needs and PhotoVoice.

The awards are open to event photographers of all levels. From weddings to sporting events to trade shows and everything in between. Photos must have been taken in 2017 to qualify for the 2018 awards. SeeHow to Enter for details.
