I began working in hospitality aged just thirteen and throughout school and college, I worked in various different settings. At one point I actually had 5 different jobs at the same time, from glass collecting at a night club to wedding coordination at a manor house!
I am very passionate about travelling which inspired me to consider the idea of a career in journalism and I carried out a placement at The Daily Telegraph. This introduced me to the world of PR and Events. After graduating in Events Management I worked in a number of exciting positions but my two favourites were Theatre Front of House Manager and Event Coordinator at Global Radio. Here I got to work for a number of high profile clients such as Nintendo, The Sun, Blackberry and Alton Towers.
I went on to manage logistics and marketing for mass-participation outdoor events for Cancer Research and I loved being outside come rain or shine! I now utilise all of my skills and am thrilled to be leading the fantastic Front of House team here in Birmingham.
