I was born in Ancona, a seaside town in Italy, and started to study Hospitality and Catering at age 13, while working in hotels as both waiter and kitchen porter during the summer.
At 22 I decided to unite my passion for travel and hospitality, and embarked on a journey to Australia, visiting the country whilst working as waiter and bartender in different locations.
In 2006, after a year in Italy, a friend invited me to move to London for what turned out to be a very long summer season! I quickly found a position as Head Waiter and Events Supervisor at the iconic Gherkin.
After 2 years I moved into bartending, quickly learning a few things about wines and champagnes and taking a role as Assistant Sommelier. I later moved into a manager role in two different Italian restaurants.
I started with Off to Work as a casual staff member, working at a wide range of high-profile venues. I was soon offered a casual position as Recruitment Coach and finally a permanent role as Talent Stream Assistant for the Back of House division.
Along with my passion for hospitality and food, I also cultivate a love for music, guitars and, as a good Italian, engines!
