Job Role: Sous Chef - Staff Dining
Location - Canary Wharf

We are looking for a strong Sous Chef to work in this prestigious operation based in Canary Wharf. Essentially you will run the day to day, including menu writing, ordering, stock control, delivering breakfast and lunch service, promo creation.
Core hours for the role are Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 3.00pm so the Sous Chef must be able to get to Canary Wharf for this time. The site caters for around 1000-1200 on a daily basis so if you have volume experience that would be beneficial.
The Sous Chef must be competent on the computer and be familiar with Word/Excel/Outlook and well as being able to do online orders and allergen control. There will be an office based team member to assist with this but you must be capable of helping where necessary
The ideal Sous Chef will be an innovator, driver, and be results driven, and able to achieve quick visual impact with regards to how things are presented and displayed in the restaurant. You must be skilled at dressing counters, and ensuring food is kept appealing and appetising at all times.
All in all this is a great Sous Chef opportunity which could in a couple of years lead into the Head Chef role so someone wanting to progress in the future would be very well placed to step up.
