Job Role - Sous Chef
Location - Central Edinburgh
Salary - £25k - £27k + service charge
5 out of 7 days - rota basis

Off To Work is partnering with a great client in the hotel sector in their search for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join their team.

We are currently recruiting for a Strong Sous Chef for this lovely 4-star hotel in Central Edinburgh. This stunning hotel has 120 bedrooms with 3 event rooms and a 100 cover modern brasserie restaurant, serving British cuisine with a french twist.

As a Sous Chef you will report directly to the Head Chef and help support the day to day running of the kitchen. You will contribute to new menu ideas and have a good understanding of food cost and stock control.This is a very hands on role and you will be responsible for developing and training the junior members of the team.

The ideal Sous Chef will be passionate, have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. You will have the ability to cook for large volumes but to an exacting standard. You must be able to demonstrate a good work history, a passion for working with fresh produce and previous experience working in 4* or 5* hotels or high-end rosette level restaurants.
