Job Role - Sous Chef in Events
Location - London
Sector: Event Catering
Salary - £35-40k - Depending on Experience

Are you an Events Sous Chef looking for a new role with a leading Event company?! A great salary and location are on offer in this role.

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef in this newly created position! This will be primarily a Monday to Friday position but flexibility will be required as this is an Events company so some evenings and weekends may be required. December will also be very busy as expected with lots of functions and events in the calendar

The ideal chef will currently be a Sous Chef wanting a new challenge or move away from Hotel or Restaurant hours and transfer to a top end event caterer. This will be a very fast paced and exciting role. You will working in a small full time kitchen team which is supported by relief chefs for events and functions.

You will need experience of catering for large numbers as well as be confident in running the events with a team of chefs. This could be 500 / 1000 for conferences or sit down dinners for 1000+ for dinners. A banqueting background would also be suitable for this role

You should be a creative Sous Chef and be able to support the Head Chef with menu design and bring idea's to the table. This role does offer distinct progression opportunities with the group so someone looking to join a growing company would relish this position.
