Job Role - Sous Chef

Location - London

Sector: Event Catering

Salary - £27k - £40k Including overtime

We are looking for a Sous Chef to work in this prestigious event company based in London. This is an exciting role that doesn't become available very often! You will work at some great venue's for the events and get to see some of the most bespoke venues London has to offer

Core hours for the Sous Chef are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm and you will be on a 40 hour contract. You will likely be running 2/3 evening events per week and around 1 in 3 weekends as well, any hours over the contracted amount are paid at overtime and you can expect around 35-40% earning on your basic salary.

If you are a Sous Chef presently or an ambitious Chef De Partie wanting the next step up in your career

You will be a key member of the kitchen team and the Sous Chef is involved in all stages of the event from the menu design to meeting and presenting for clients. You would lead event and coordinate the freelance and agency chefs to ensure all events run smoothly.

A strong background in Rosette or Michelin kitchens is desitable as the food produced is of the finest quality in London. Experience gained in Events would be preferred but a strong background in high end establishments will be considered for this Sous Chef role
