Sales & Events Manager

South West London

Predominately Monday to Friday (will include some weekends and evenings)

Salary up to £30,000 per annum + 15% bonus

20 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Our client is an award-winning caterer, creative and passionate about food and events and they have an amazing opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Sales & Events Manager to work alongside the Head of Sales & Events to drive their growth and deliver the finest quality service and experience for all guests.

This is a customer facing role, so you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, have a real drive to deliver the best possible service and exceeding the customer's expectations.

The Sales & Events Manager:

Will be responsible for promoting the Meeting and Events facilities to prospective clients and will act as the main point of contact for co-ordinating their events from the initial enquiry, sending proposals and costings, right through to finalizing all the last-minute details.

To develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients and recognising up-selling opportunities to actively maximise revenues

To prepare show rounds, hosting tastings, create quality proposals for clients and convert leads into business.

To co-ordinate all the event details before handing over to the operational team, as well as meet and greet your clients on event days.

About you:

Have a strong knowledge of the Events Industry and be aware of the current market trends, along with a real understanding of the operational delivery of events.

A minimum of 2 years' proven experience of working in a fast-paced events, venues or sales environment within the Events & Conference sector.

Passionately driven and ambitious, and the ability in handling enquiries and converting business.

Professional and mature communication skills.

Be an effective team player with a bubbly, outgoing personality to work well within a team as well as on your own initiative.
