Our client is a leading financial institution and I am recruiting an ambitious and engaging Hospitality and Events Sales Executive to join a friendly and dynamic team.
As Hospitality and Events Sales Executive you will be responsible for promoting the Meetings and Events facilities to prospective clients and will act as the main point of contact for co-ordinating their events from initial enquiry, right through to finalizing all the last-minute details internally and externally.
This is a customer facing role, so you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and have a real drive to deliver the best possible service and exceeding the customer's expectations as well as maintaining the company ethos and commitment to worship and hospitality.

Principal Accountabilities:
To proactively grow, develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients and key accounts.
To create accurate business reports, understand and identify where you can increase revenue to exceed sales targets of the hospitality and event activities.
To prepare show rounds, hosting tastings, create quality proposals for clients and convert leads into business.
Develop and create bespoke proposals that meet the client's expectations and objectives while providing a high level of standards and customer care.
Effective management of the online internal marketing.

A minimum of 2 years' proven experience of working in a fast-paced sales environment within the Catering & Hospitality sector or Events & Conference venue.
A confident communicator across all channels; including face to face and comfortability in selling to high-level decision makers.
Knowledge of the Hospitality & Event Industry and confident in liaising with all clients to identify opportunities to maximise revenue through up-selling.
IT literate across multiple systems and interests in web management and marketing.
As Event Sales Executive, you will be highly motivated, committed and passionate.
You will be self-driven and focused to achieve weekly targets and be able to work well within a team as well as on your own initiative.
Be an effective team player with a bubbly, outgoing personality, and have a natural flair for networking.
