Off to Work are assisting in the recruitment of a creative and energetic Retail Catering Manager for a market leading, national contract caterer operating in the Leisure sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's most established fresh foods companies with an excellent reputation for bringing innovative catering solutions to a wide range of prestigious venues. As a company they are passionately food led and believe in offering the highest levels of customer service to their clients.
With your passion of leading people and ambition to deliver beyond expectation, your role will be to set stretching targets and lead a team of up to 80 staff to deliver a unique food & beverage and retail experience to over up to 3000 people daily.
- Reporting directly into the General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and take control of the smooth day to day running of this busy multi-outlet operations and ensure the Retail, Café, and Restaurant are integral parts of the visitor experience.
- You'll lead, inspire and support your team and champion their development to drive standards whilst increasing both customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
- With complete accountability for your own P&L with turnover of circa £1.5 million and sole responsibility of labour cost and staff schedules, you will be able to deliver cost leadership, profitable growth and maximise profits.
Through proactive approach to marketing & advertising and your extensive knowledge of merchandising new product lines, you will champion innovation and diversity to drive sales.
As expected, and key to this role will be the need for the successful candidate be immaculately presented and at ease in this demanding environment. Critically our client is looking for an individual with natural presence and charisma to build great relationships and will have a minimum 8 years' experience including at least 3 years as a senior manager.
