We're looking for a Head Chef to lead the staff dining operations of a business building, producing fresh, vibrant food. You're a passionate Head Chef who has good knowledge of multi-cultural cuisine, is up to date with current food trends, has a thing for street food and is an inspirational, organised leader.

The role:

  • Your role as the head chef will be very much "hands on" and responsible for all day to day duties in the kitchen of a modern style operation providing diverse and exciting menus and of course work to set budget.
  • To proactively forward thinking, be an ambitious and innovative Head Chef who will perform consistently to the highest standards.
  • To be strong relationship builder with people of all levels and be the face of the business working with senior management and clients.
  • Currently producing around 250 meals per day split between breakfast / lunch / grab and go and salad boxes. You will be an imaginative Head Chef who will want to improve the food offering to attract more customers to eat in the restaurant so a real opportunity for you to make you mark!


The ideal candidate:

  • The successful Head Chef would come from a high-end Commercial background or premium contract caterer.
  • Have previous experience running and managing a kitchen.
  • Excellent craft skills and knowledge all current food trends, innovative and creative.
  • A real foodie with a passion for seasonality, sustainability and a keen eye for food trends is a must.
  • Love variety and working with a broad mix of customers.
  • Proven Financial and Commercial acumen.
  • A leader who will train, nurture and develop future talent with in the business.
  • Have sound knowledge of hygiene, health and safety requirements.
  • Must be organised to deliver to deadlines.


Monday to Friday only
Salary - up to £27,000 based on 40 hours / week
