Event Manager

We are looking for someone with event management experience who can lead the events process from beginning to end. This will involve generating event enquiries and seeing events through the sales process through to on-site management and delivery on the day and aftercare.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced enthusiastic and passionate Event Manager who's looking for their next challenge, work with fantastic suppliers, and wants to be part of a dynamic and passionate team.

The responsibilities of the Event Manager will include:

·Outbound calls, client meetings, responding to enquiries.

·Identifying new business opportunities and confidently seeking out new clients.

·Managing events from initial enquiry through to execution.

·Manage staff responsible for event coordination activities.

·To inspire exceptional service to our clients and guests; and exceed customer expectations

·Maintain a strong relationship with client during coordination, execution and evaluation stages of services.

·Responsible for all client meetings, whether face-to-face or by telephone.

·Forecasting projected sales for each event and updating on a regular basis for weekly forecast meetings

Ideal candidate

·Event Management experience within well respected venues / Event Caterer

·Come with an understanding of the market and our industry

·Have a strong background in driving and delivering events

·The ability to build and lead an effective team through great leadership

·Results orientated and motivated to achieve measurable results

·Motivated by a passion for quality, targets and great service delivery

·Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills

·A 'Can-do', enthusiastic attitude

·Financial and commercial acumen

·You are able to work to very high standards and keep energised during busy periods

·Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire and a keen eye for detail.

·Above all you will have the passion for service, food and events!
