Events Operations Manager - Contract Catering -
Central London
5 days over 7, including some weekends
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Our client is one of the UK's leading Contract Catering company and they are looking for an experienced Events Operations Manager to overseeing all operational duties, ensuring excellence in all areas.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about the event industry and eager to progress in their career with the company as they grow.

The Meetings & Events Operations Manager must be passionate about their role, show flair and constantly look for fresh ideas, encouraging creative thinking in the team and have a strong presence with a 'hands on' attitude and true passion to deliver amazing Events.

Main role and objectives:
The role is hands-on and required a true professional with excellent organization skills and great leadership.
Responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day Event operations.
Managing the operational and logistical planning of all events from initial enquiry through to execution.
To inspire exceptional service to all clients and guests; and exceed customer expectations.
Maintain a strong relationship with client during coordination, execution and evaluation stages of services.
Liaising with other departments - facilities management, food & beverage, kitchen team.
Champion the motivation and development of the Event team and identifies training opportunities and plans a strategy to accomplish goals.


Must have for the Event Manager role:
A strong previous operational and planning event experience is necessary, ideally with an Event Caterer & Contract Catering.
You will be working in a busy Event & Hospitality environment which requires a consistency in customer service and being able to work well under pressure.
You will be efficient, detailed and highly productive individual with a proactive and flexible approach.
Have a good understanding of food and health and safety, risks assessments and Standard Operating Procedures.
Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire a dedicated team.
Talented and ambitious individual who has a passion for food and a desire to deliver faultless events.
Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environment with an outgoing, upbeat and positive personality.
