Our client is one of the UK's leading Contract Catering company and they are looking for an experienced Events Manager to overseeing all operational duties, ensuring excellence in all areas - client and guest experience are at the heart of this company.

We are looking for individuals who are innovative and can bring in new ideas and who are enthusiastic about developing with the company as they grow.

The role is hands-on and required a true professional with excellent organization skills and great leadership.

  • Responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day Event operations.
  • Managing events from initial enquiry through to execution.
  • To inspire exceptional service to our clients and guests; and exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with client during coordination, execution and evaluation stages of services.
  • Liaising with other departments - facilities management, food & beverage, kitchen team.
  • Operational & team management and responsible for the continual training of employees and upholding excellent standards of service.
  • Prepare & manage accurate costings for functions, labour and overhead costs to deliver on P&L budgets.
  • And, most importantly, providing our customers with a quality experience.

Must have background for the Event Manager role:

  • Experience in a similar role is necessary ideally with an Event Caterer & Contract Catering.
  • You will be working in a busy Event & Hospitality environment which requires a consistency in customer service, flexibility and being able to work well under pressure.
  • You will have previous operational/planning event catering experience.
  • Strong F&B management skills, both front and back of house.
  • Well- versed at account managing and liaising directly with clients to win business.
  • Talented and ambitious individual who has a passion for food and a desire to deliver faultless events.
  • You will be efficient, detailed and highly productive individual with a proactive and flexible approach to workload.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and relay with confidence to all relevant teams.
