Salary - £20,572 - £21,944 (£10.55 per hour)



My client is a leading Contract Caterer and we are looking for a Commis Chef to join this small team. You will need bags of enthusiasm and a great attitude and a desire to progress your career. The Commis Chef will work in a team of 5 chefs and help prepare food for the staff restaurant, salad bar, Sandwiches, Grab and Go as well as other hot counters.

This is a Monday to Friday role with core hours being 7.00am to 3.30pm. This role is set hours so there are no evenings and weekends involved. However very occasional paid overtime may be available.

The Commis Chef will work closely with the other chefs in the kitchen and be given the chance to run a section with support.

Previous Commis Chef experience is preferred whether this is Contract Catering, Restaurants or Hotels. Ideally trained to NVQ Level 2 and have good basic knife skills and an understanding of how a commercial kitchen works
