We are looking for an attentive, positive and enthusiastic Catering Events Assistant to assist in a Café in a Beautiful Venue in Richmond. As the new Catering Assistant, you are a vital part of a fantastic team providing great beverage, food and customer service to your guests and customers. You will be assisting in the Café's and Restaurants onsite and will also help with the events that are held onsite. You must be happy to assist in all areas of the business and be extremely passionate about the food and hospitality industry. The role is a minimum of 40 hours per week but overtime may be required and will be paid.


Ideally, you are a Catering Events Assistant who:

- Has extensive experience as a Catering Assistant in a fast paced environment
- Experience in a café/restaurant
- Experience on assisting with catering on large scale events
- Has a stable, progressive work history
- Can work independently and under pressure but also have a great team work ethos
- The ability to operate the tills, ensuring that the correct procedures are used
- Ideally has experience on a coffee machine but not necessary
- The ability to organise stock control and deliveries
- Is up to date with current food trends and to be knowledgeable about the product they are selling to be able to up-sell and recommend
