Monday to Friday only
Salary: up to £32K
My client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Catering / Chef Manager to work for this national contract catering company. The ideal Catering / Chef Manager will have a passion for fresh food, strong craft skills and excellent management skills.

Conscious of current food trends and passionate about serving high quality, freshly cooked meals from locally sourced ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on role and you will be responsible for a small team, overseeing the production of breakfasts, lunches, and special events.
The site caters for a staff restaurant breakfast & Lunch and a busy Hospitality/ Event operation.
Provide an excellent commercial catering service for staff and guests.
Managing the on-site team and enforcing the company's policies and procedures.
Planning and developing menus in line with client expectations.
Cost control and ensuring budget targets are achieved.
PO/invoicing, cashing up, recharges.

The candidate:
Previous experience as a Catering / Chef Manager within contract catering in the B & I sector with a minimum of 2 years at this level.
Foodie and creative is a must along with great craft skills.
Financial awareness with the ability to manage budgetary lines.
Able to manage, develop and mentor the team.
Strong Leader.
Health & Safety & Food Safety and allergens regulations awareness is essential.
