Job Role: Catering Assistant

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £9.00ph plus paid overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday

Off To Work and our client are recruiting for a fantastic Catering Assistant to join an exciting team based in a fast-paced Contract Catering site in Edinburgh.

Our client provides an excellent catering service and they are looking for an experienced and trained catering professional looking for the next step in their career. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the service they provide,has excellent people skills and is self-driven in all aspects of their work.

The role will be based within the staff dining café/restaurant,but you will have the opportunity to assist on exciting events and functions that the site holds for internal and external guests. Your core hours will be 7.30am to 3.30pm.

Role Responsibility:

• Setting up and clearing meeting rooms throughout the day to the clients standard and specification
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment, adhering to health and safety and hygiene regulations.
• To deliver excellent customer service and have good knowledge of operating tills.
• Work well as part of a team to be able to provide the best possible service in a high pressured and fast paced environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar role or a hotel environment is required.
• Punctual, friendly and have a positive attitude
• Strong organisational and customer service skills
• Adaptable and flexible
• You will be well presented and team player who is committed and enthusiastic
