6 Months FTC Catering Manager- Rare In-House Operation

My client is a global investment management company and is one of those rare gems where the catering operation is run in-house by the client for their employees. An opportunity has arisen for a Catering Manager to join their prestigious headquarters on a fixed 6 months contract to cover maternity.

Delivery healthy and nutritious breakfast and lunch offers to their 300 employees on site as well as overseeing any events, the successful Catering Manager will really be part of the fabric.

This is an ideal first step up for an Assistant/Deputy Manager who is ready for something to call their own and take on the Catering Manager role. The team of 4 is small but perfectly formed and require a hands-on leader who is operational.
The successful Catering Manager will need to have superb stakeholder management skills as the most senior directors have their homes away from home here therefore the building of solid rapport is crucial.

Requirements
* Proven experience in managing and leading a catering team within a corporate catering environment
* Excellent communication, strong organisational and time management skills
* Industry acumen and knowledge of external catering developments & innovations.
* Strong financial understanding and demonstrable budget management.
* IT literate.
* An outgoing personality, positive attitude, a strong commitment to team building and capable of providing a positive work culture for employees.
* Ability to stay calm under pressure.

My client provides a fantastic salary of up to £28,000pa pro rate and a sublime benefits package unique to in-house organisations.

The role is Monday to Friday
