Off to Work- Safety Advice

BY MARIELA DE LA MORA

Following recent tragedies in Manchester and London, we want to make sure you are as safe as possible during shifts.

We would like to keep our advice as simple as possible.

1. Here is a link to official guidance from the Metropolitan Police on staying safe from terrorism. This information is relevant for everyone in all regions, so please read carefully and share around.

2. If you are in a building where an attack has taken place, but you are not in the immediate vicinity of it, you need to listen very carefully to your manager. The venue will have clear plans in place for safety, security and evacuation.

Managing Director Philip Atkins offers his support and advice for all of you at this time:

“Your safety is paramount to all of us and we will continue to work with our clients to ensure that personnel pre-checking and on-site security checks are thorough. Thank you also for staying vigilant and always feel that if something doesn’t look or feel right to you, your concerns will be taken seriously. We are here to help you and should you have any concerns about work you are going to or any other situation please always feel you can talk to us. We wish you a fun, enjoyable, productive and safe summer ahead.”

Please be extra vigilant when going out to work and keep your loved ones updated as to your whereabouts.

Event venues will understandably have more stringent security, so allow for a little extra time when arriving at large events  and always make sure to have a photo ID with you.

If you want to talk or are feeling anxious about any upcoming shifts, please don’t hesitate to give the office a call.

We are always here to help.
