Off to Work - Recruitment Department
Patricia de Souza Kuntz • Front of House Recruitment Manager

With over 15 years’ experience in the service industry, I can honestly say I have a passion for people.
Running a marketing department for a well know insurance company in Brazil instigated my creativity and curiosity. It was then that I was first introduced to the Events/Hospitality industry, having successfully organised several corporate events.
Also responsible for the company’s Employee Association for 5 years from its conception helped me reinforced my connection with the people within the organization. From integration events to weekend’s trips I was able to make groups of about 200 people have a mutual understanding of the company’s goal and vision.
After finishing my Marketing degree, I moved to Toronto, where my main goal was to learn conversational English and entrepreneurial skills. I ran my own cleaning company for just under 7 years. As the company continued to grow, I found myself having to recruit and train employees to keep company standards and satisfied clients.
After a gap year enjoying some travelling and getting married in Brazil I moved to London, where I soon joined the Off to Work office team in May 2011. It’s been a great journey so far and now I find myself working for a company that combines my passion for hospitality with my experience dealing with people.
If you are also enthusiastic about hospitality work and have great personality, come join our team, I can’t wait to meet you!!

In the back of house recruitment corner, I am rocking the main stage.
With my extensive background in festival and event management, a degree in both politics and bio-medicine from Victoria University Melbourne Australia, coupled with the utmost respect for the unsung heroes of the events industry, I am here to find the best people for the Off to Work BOH team.
Vanessa Holder • Recruitment Assistant

I initially discovered 'Off to Work' while I was at university taking a degree in Film Studies. I began as a casual member and immediately felt at home and admired the ethos of the company and the dedication and competence of the staff. My hobby is script writing and in my final year at University I decided to put on a play I had written. I proceeded to cast the parts, find the locations for the filmed sections, source the equipment, hire the venue - in short to organise the event. This was a lot of work but it was wonderful to see all the parts come together for the night.
After the joining the recruitment team here at 'Off to Work' I realised the relevancy of what I had done to my role here. The position is ideal for me and I know I can do a good job that will fulfil me. I love meeting new people and am grateful to be part of a fantastic company!
