Off to Work Consultancy- The Permanent Division
I joined Off to Work in July 2010 to help develop the permanent division of the business. My background had been in Financial Permanent Recruitment for the previous 12 years where I had worked with clients within the Leisure, Media and FMCG industries including Diageo, Associated British Foods, De Vere Hotels and Pizza Express. I enjoyed developing relationships and helping clients secure Junior positions through to Senior Board level appointments and relished the opportunity to help candidates secure the next step within their careers.
Prior to working in recruitment, I had spent 7 years working at Madame Tussaud’s and Shakespeare’s Globe where I was involved in both Front of House and Corporate Hospitality.
When I joined Off to Work, it was a refreshing change to be back in such a sociable, friendly and interesting industry and have thoroughly enjoyed reacquainting myself with old colleagues and networks. It’s been an exciting time setting up the permanent division and seeing it grow into it’s own division – Off to Work Consultancy.

I have been working with Off to Work Consultancy since July 2011 and with 6 years’ experience within the hospitality industry I could not refuse the opportunity.
During my time with Off to Work Consultancy I have really learnt a lot, you could say I have fallen in love with Hospitality all over again. Working as a recruiter I get to meet some fantastic people which helps me have a better understanding of the business as well as how to meet the clients and candidate’s needs. I get to place a lot of candidates in fabulous venues, I specify in junior positions and with Jane we cover all positions from Front of House, Back of house and all the in between.
Within my first year I have moved from Consultancy Assistant to Consultancy Assistant Manager and am taking on more and more responsibility all the time and enjoying the daily challenges that come my way.
